Perempuan berusia 27 tahun itu hamil tiga bulan dan pengantin laki-laki yang digandengnya yakni palsu alias bukan suami sahnya. Mempelai laki-laki dibayar untuk menghilangkan stigma sosial yang disematkan kepada orangtua tunggal, terutama kepada kaum perempuan.


"Orangtua aku akan aib bila aku hamil tanpa seorang suami," kata Kha kepada AFP sebulan sesudah hari ijab kabul palsunya yang berbiaya 1.500 dollar Amerika Serikat atau sekitar Rp 20,4 juta.Pernikahan Palsu ()

Besaran dana tersebut impas untuk menutup kepergian ayah sang bayi yang menentukan menikah dengan wanita lain.

Bisnis sewa tamu ijab kabul dan mempelai memang sedang berkembang di Vietnam, di mana sekitar 70 persen orang berusia 15 tahun ke atas telah menikah dan tidak hanya Kha yang mencari suami untuk bangkit bersama di pelaminan.

Pasangan muda di Vietnam banyak yang merogoh kocek ribuan dollar untuk menyewa orangtua, bibi, paman, wali, dan sobat supaya meyakinkan keluarga besarnya.

Kha dan suami palsunya tidak pernah menikah secara sah.

Pernikahan mereka hanya formalitas yang dibalut dengan pesta ijab kabul mewah. Namun, ia selalu berterima kasih kepada laki-laki yang telah memainkan tugas dengan baik di depan teman-teman dan keluarganya.

"Saya ibarat tenggelam, tetapi berhasil meraih pelampung," kata Kha, yang namanya diganti untuk melindungi identitas aslinya.

Dia lebih menentukan menjadi orangtua tunggal yang bercerai ketimbang mempunyai bayi di luar ikatan pernikahan.

Norma dalam kekerabatan berubah dengan cepat di antara kaum muda di Vietnam, di mana setengah dari populasinya sebanyak 93 juta orang berusia di bawah 30 tahun.

Banyak pasangan yang menentukan hidup bersama sebelum menikah atau meninggalkan rumah orangtuanya dan menyewa apartemen.

Aborsi di Vietnam juga meningkat tajam.

Sebanyak 300.000 kasus pengguguran tercatat pada tahun lalu.

Namun, dikala kaum muda menghadapi pernikahan, masih banyak tekanan keluarga dan sosial untuk mengikuti tradisi yang ada. "Orang tidak mempunyai keberanian untuk hidup yang benar seturut dengan hati.

Mereka menghadapi kebiasaan, budpekerti istiadat, budaya, dan pandangan tradisional," kata peneliti psikologi Nguyen Duy Cuong.

"Kita harus menempatkan diri pada posisi mereka yang tidak mempunyai jalan keluar," tambahnya.

Palsu dan positif Tidak hanya Khan, Huong dan pacarnya berjulukan Quan juga melaksanakan upacara ijab kabul palsu.

Keluarga Quan tidak akan menyutujui hubungannya dengan Huong alasannya yakni ia berasal dari provinsi yang miskin.

Namun, orangtua Huong memintanya menikah di tahun ayam jantan menurut saran dari seorang peramal.

Pasangan tersebut menentukan menyelenggarakan ijab kabul palsu di provinsi asalnya Huong di Nghe An. Tamu ijab kabul keduanya asli, tetapi ayah, ibu, paman, bibi, dan teman-teman Quan merupakan orang sewaan.

"Itu palsu dan nyata," kata Quan.

Terlepas dari segala kepura-puraan, keduanya menawarkan kesepakatan untuk hidup bersama.

Quan merasa lega dikala upacara ijab kabul palsunya selesai digelar meski ia harus merahasiakannya dari orangtuanya yang asli.

"Menghabiskan sedikit uang dan menciptakan semua orang bahagia. Kami sanggup mengatasi ini semua dengan damai," katanya. Pendiri perusahaan sewa tamu pernikahan, Nguyen Xuan Thien, mengatakan, mereka telah menyelanggarkan ribuan ijab kabul selama beberapa tahun terakhir.

Walaupun tidak ada statistik yang menggambarkan jumlah ijab kabul palsu di Vietnam, Thien menyatakan, bisnisnya tumbuh dengan lebih dari 400 tamu yang disewa untuk program pernikahan.

"Kami membantu pengantin dan keluarganya, tetapi bahwasanya kami tidak ingin ijab kabul palsu akan terus tumbuh," katanya.

Menurut dia, bisnis sewa tamu ijab kabul hanyalah bab dari dedikasi kepada masyarakat dan tidak menghasilkan banyak keuntungan.
